About Me

• I’m Jane – mum of two, and this is my first foray into the world of blogging! I’m going to be writing about the ups and downs of our life with epilepsy, following my daughter Eva’s diagnosis when she was 6 years old. Eva’s challenges over her lifetime are the focus and will feature the whole family; myself, my husband Neil, Eva (now 11) and her proud brother Jacob (now 7).
  
  Eva was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy called ESES (CSWS) in July 2014.  When we sought information to help us, we found that there are very few personal stories out there.  My aim is to raise awareness and understanding by giving an honest account of our experiences.  Hopefully this may help families who find themselves in a similar position.
